# Starter Guide

## Welcome to CMG!

If you are joining the server for the first time, you will need to complete the CMG tutorial! 

Press \[**E**] to begin and **follow** the on-screen instructions.

## The Basics

#### Press \[**ESC**] to open the pause menu:

\- Quickly view your **ID, playtime, and job**\
\- Links to our **server**  & **community rules** \
\- **Maps, Settings & Disconnect** \
\- Easily see the player count of **CMG Minigames**, and grab the connect command\
\- Links to the **website, twitter & store**\
\- **Dispute UI**, Message a player about a recent encounter\
\- Link to the official **CMG Wiki**

### Interaction Menu&#x20;

Pressing \[**E**] Opens Interaction Menu (Player, Vehicle, Bag)

### Inventory

Press \[**L**] to open your inventory.

This hotkey brings up your inventory menu, where you can equip using Use, Trash, which will discard the weapon or item forever, Give to the nearest player, which will prompt you for a Temp ID and amount to give (the Temp ID is the numbers above someone's head), or Move the item, which in most cases would be in the boot of a car to secure your weapons or items.

### Warning System

Press \[**F10**] to open your warning menu.

If you have been punished for breaking a server rule, you will be able to see the following information: the rulebreak, the punishment length, the amount of points it has put on your F10, points are reduced by 2 every month.

### **Health** & **Armour**&#x20;

In the bottom left-hand side of the screen, you will notice 2 bars:

To the right you will see your **Cash** & **Bank** (Cash can be dropped and stolen by other players.) You manage your bank through your phone on the Monzo app.&#x20;

You can also see the time and proximity chat \[page up & dn to cycle]

You can withdrawn money from any bank / ATM: Located on your minimap <img src="/files/68ATh5c7qYTS1tVLQv2x" alt="" data-size="line">.

### Need an admin?

**`/calladmin`** This command will bring up a prompt menu on the left of your screen asking you to describe your issue. This is where you tell the Staff team the issue you're facing, and they will respond at your earliest convenience.

If no staff member has taken your report and you wish to it being seen to you can make a player report on the forums [HERE](https://cmgstudios.net/forums/index.php?/forum/9-member-support/)

### How to buy your first weapon?

You will need cash (can be withdrawn from any atm) Check out our full, detailed weapon guide

**/storeallweapons & /storecurrentweapon** These commands can be used to store weapons or items that you have on your person and are then accessible through your inventory at any time.
